Alan Broad, Managing Director Alan Broad started his career in the travel trade working for his Father's company Broads Travel Service along with his Brothers Michael and Robert. Alan has since established Robert Broad Travel as a well known and well respected company within the local community and now nationally in the UK. Alan has traveled extensively throughout his career and now has the pleasure in passing down a large number of educational trips to his staff to help them develop their careers. More recently, Alan and his wife Cheryl visited South Africa and Mauritius. Cheryl Broad, Director Alan's wife, Cheryl overseas the administration of the company and ensures that our high quality service is never compromised. Her liaison with clients and suppliers is essential to the success of our business. Cheryl has also travelled extensively throughout her career in the travel industry, which started at Birmingham Airport. Cheryl has a passion for winter sports and helps with the arrangement of our ski group bookings. Over the years Cheryl has visited many of Europe's Ski resorts as well as a few in the USA and her favourite destination is South Africa. Nathan, Assistant Manager Nathan joined the company in May 2001 and has since expanded his travel knowledge and experience through a range of trips abroad and training courses. Nathan has enjoyed cruising with Airtours and Ocean Village as well as visiting the QM2 prior to its launch in January 2004. Nathan has a also visited Jamaica, St. Kitts, Nevis, Lapland and Dubai, New York, Hong Kong & Antigua whilst being employed with us. Nathan's most recent trip abroad was to Malaysia where he visited Borneo as well as Singapore. Kirsty, Travel Consultant Kirsty has been with the company since April 2001 and has visited a vast amount of worldwide destinations including Bermuda, Grenada, Dubai and the ICEHOTEL®. She has also enjoyed traveling to Uncommercialised resorts in Turkey. Kirsty's many years of experience within the travel industry helps ensure that our after-sales service is of a very high standard. Her favourite destination is Bermuda, having recently returned there for the second time with her family. Dave, Sales & Business Development Dave joined the company in August 2003 as Sales & Business Developer and offers our customers many years of travel experience. Dave is our Sports Events specialist and offers an in depth service ensuring a truly memorable trip is planned for you. Dave is also our Arabian Gulf Specialist and has traveled to a number of countries in this region including Dubai, Oman and Abu Dhabi. In the Autumn of 2004, Dave and his wife visited India and so he can offer you first hand knowledge and advice when you booking with us to certain areas within this wonderful country. Dave also arranges many of our group departures, both within the UK and abroad - if you have a group and would like someone to take the hassle out of making the necessary arrangements for you please contact Dave. Jayne, Travel Consultant Jayne joined us in 2005 and has previously worked at a number of travel agencies during her career and is now able to use her knowledge and experience assisting with our vast range of travel administrative duties. It is likely you will speak to Jayne when your holiday tickets are ready for collection. Jayne enjoys holidaying with her family to destinations such as Majorca as well as places closer to home including the Isle of Wight and Wales, in particular Jayne recommends the Brynteg holiday park in Wales as a great place for a family holiday. John, Travel Consultant John joined the company in April 2006. He has enjoyed a career in the travel industry working with a range of companies including British Airways. John brings a wealth of travel experience and knowledge to the company including his specialised area and personal favourite New Zealand. Helen, Travel Consultant Helen has worked in travel for 9 years starting at Birmingham airport as checkin/departure staff and then to JMC Airlines at Birmingham and Luton as Airport Services Rep and then to Thomas Cook as a sales consultant. Helen has traveled to mainly European destinations and enjoys a relaxing short break usually in the UK and I can recommend Griffon Forest Lodges near York for complete relaxation as all the lodges have outdoor hot tubs and indoor Jacuzzi baths! Helen also enjoys scuba diving and qualified in Jamaica this year so her next holiday to Egypt is purely for diving. Her passion in travel is Weddings and Honeymoons, after getting married in Barbados in 2005 she is a true romantic and loves organising these very romantic holidays. Oliver Broad Alan's youngest son, Oliver is responsible for the marketing of the company as well as overseeing our websites and developing new opportunities for our clients. Oliver has traveled to China, Japan, Morocco, New York, Florida, Disneyland Paris, Barcelona, Turkey, Italy amongst others. Oliver also represents the company at Liverpool John Moores University, giving guest lectures on the travel industry. Katherine, Office Assistance Katherine is the latest addition to our team and has just started her career in the travel industry. Katherine is playing a vital role assisting with a wide range of duties including administration, marketing and sales.
