Weddings in Barbados - call Helen who got married in
Barbados herself on 0845 003 2211 or 01543 258631.
Helen tells us why she chose Barbados for her
wedding:
"We chose Barbados because it was easy! No paperwork/legal requirements – just a
minimum stay of 3 days. Daily flights from London and we chose a small hotel as
we wanted somewhere quiet and intimate. We stayed at Crystal Cove, it was lovely
good rooms all with good views of the gardens or the sea. Our wedding was
organized very well, we had a meeting with the wedding co-coordinator on our
first day and she took care of everything. We were taken to the wedding
locations within the hotel so we could choose where to get married and then we
could choose a menu for the evening meal. Our party was 15 adults and 1 child
all catered for really well. I would definitely recommend Barbados and Crystal
Cove for a small, intimate wedding.
The wedding package...
Our package was a free wedding (if you stay 14 nights) and included all
legalities, decorated location, wedding cake, sparkling wine, flowers, candlelit
meal for 2 on any night of our choice, breakfast in bed the following day, and
20 photographs. We paid locally for a video/DVD, extra photos and a steel band
to play ’here comes the bride’ and to play during and after the ceremony.
This hotel is a good 4* and prices start at about £1989
per person for 7 nights. Family and friends can stay at any property but will
have to pay $80 per person to use the facilities of the hotel and the 'All
inclusive' for the wedding day. It is part of the 'Elegant Hotels' chain and you
can use the dine around programme with the other hotels.
