Visas
Entry visas are required for India, Nepal and some South East Asia countries. We provide the application forms when accepting your holiday booking, and can obtain the visas on your behalf for a nominal fee.
Airport taxes
Some airport taxes may have to be paid by you locally during the holiday. We are happy to advise.
Travel insurance
You are welcome to purchase comprehensive insurance or independently arrange one, please ask for details.
Meals not specified
We are happy to advise on estimated additional cost for meals.
Tips
We advise you on appropriate amounts for tipping prior to departure.
Camera fee
There is normally a small fee for taking cameras into monuments and game reserves in India. While the amount is nominal for still cameras it is somewhat higher for video cameras, typically £4 or under.
Personal expenses
These may include meals not included, drinks, laundry, telephone, shopping, etc. Most hotels have a same day laundry service, room service for meals and beverages - this is in addition to the restaurants, and facility for international dialling.
Transfers in the UK
Travel from your residence to the airport or vice versa is not covered. We are happy to suggest companies who can provide such a service, if required.
