Days 1 to 4. Sasangir National Park
[B & L (Days 3 & 4 only), D (Days 2 to 4 only)]
Depart London for Diu, flying via Mumbai. On arrival on Day
2, you transfer by road to Sasangir National Park and Gir
Lodge for a 3-night stay. Sasangir is today the last
stronghold of the Asiatic Lion with some 300 remaining. The
area is also home to large numbers of Leopard as well as
Hyena, jackal, Jungle Cat, Sambar, Chital, Wild Boar and
Common Langur.
Days 5 to 8. Kanha National Park [B, L & D (Days 6
to 8 only)]
Fly on to Nagpur via Mumbai for the night at the Tuli
International Hotel, before transferring by road to Kanha,
for a 3-night stay at the Tuli Tiger Resort.
Days 9 & 10. Pench National Park [B, L, D]
Continue by road to Pench National Park for a 2-night stay
at Bagh Van Lodge, which offers comfortable accommodation in
small cottages, each with en-suite facilities and a
verandah. Pench National Park is home to both Tiger and
Leopard.
Days 11 to 14. Kaziranga National Park [B, L, D]
After morning activities and lunch you have time to relax
before heading off to Nagpur for the night-time flight to
Guwahati, via Kolkata. On arrival transfer to Kaziranga and
Wild Grass Lodge where you spend three nights.
Days 15 to 17. Homeward [B (Days 15 & 16 only)]
Return to Kolkata today for a 2-night stay, where you may
enjoy a tour of the city. In the early morning of Day 17,
transfer to the airport for your homeward flight.
