Many Christmas Lapland holidays are already sold out, but we have arranged a very special package to Finland at very competitive prices for our clients.

Depart 22nd December 2008 from London Heathrow at 0700, arrive Stockholm 1035, depart 1310, arrive Kittila at 1545

From here you will be met at the airport and transferred to your chosen hotel for 5 nights in either a hotel room at the Harrinica Hotel (rooms can sleep up to 2 adults, 2 children, child age is 2-11).  Today you will familiarise yourself with the hotel and enjoy a meal an evening meal at the hotel.

23rd December 2008 - Today you can enjoy a 2 hour snowmobile excursion at 10am included in the package. Evening dinner at hotel
24th December 2008 / Christmas Eve.  Today you can venture into the forest to find the perfect Christmas tree, from where it will be brought back to your cosy hotel for the family to decorate.  There are also optional excursions such as cross country skiing or snow shoeing (+£35 per adults, £25 per child).  You can also opt to enjoy a horse ride (+£65 per person, adults or child). The day is rounded off by a traditional Finnish Christmas Dinner as the locals celebrate Christmas on Christmas Eve.
25th December 2008 / Christmas day enjoy an option excursion back into the forest in search of Father Christmas (+£80 per adult, £60 per child) or a visit to the Snow Village (6 hour round trip, +£115 per adult, £100 per child).  An International Christmas dinner will be served at the hotel. 

26th December 2008 / Boxing Day enjoy a 2 hour Husky Sledging Safari, included in the package.  

27th December 2008 - Today it is time to leave and return to the UK.  A fond farewell to your hosts before you are transferred back to the airport to depart at 0955, arrive Helsinki at 1120, depart 1205 and arrive back into London Heathrow at 1315.

Prices:

£1250 per adult if staying in the hotel room at Harraniva
£750 per child (2-11 years) if sharing with 2 adults in the hotel room at Harraniva
maximum 2 adults, 2 children per room
 

Log cabin - if you would prefer to stay in a more traditional form of lodging why not upgrade to a log cabin.  These can only sleep a maximum or 2 adults. The total package cost for this would be £1295 per person (no child rate).

Deep in the pine trees sits Santa's North Pole home, covered with snow - it’s the stuff that dreams are made of and you can see it on the faces of everyone, not just the children, as they set off in search of their fantasy. 

It’s not just Father Christmas though that makes Lapland so exciting. You can ride a snow cat or skidoo (a motorised snow vehicle) sedately along prepared tracks, or if you feel more daring, by driving across deep snow. Minimum skidoo driving age on public areas is 15 years. 

The challenge is very exciting but most of all it’s fun. Then there’s the Santa's reindeer and husky dogs safaris to provide exhilarating rides which will long remain memorable.
