Day 1. Depart London
Depart London bound for Keflavik where you will be met and transferred to The Viking Village for a 2-night stay. The Viking Village is a charming hotel outside Reykjavik constructed in a traditional style, with 20 comfortable rooms - it is a truly unique place to stay. The rest of your day is free to relax at the hotel or explore Reykjavik town centre.
Day
2. Whale-watching
As well as looking out for whales today you may also be able to see a whole host of different sea birds and on your return large numbers of nesting birds will be visible on Puffin Island. In the afternoon you have the option of taking a further whale-watching excursion or joining an escorted horse-back trip into the surrounding volcanic countryside.
Day 3. Homeward
This morning you have time for a final whale-watch excursion, before transferring to the airport for your homeward flight. En-route you may be able to stop off at Iceland's most famous tourist attraction, the Blue Lagoon. The brilliant waters of the lagoon set against the dark volcanic rock is a fantastic sight. You arrive into London early evening.
