Hotel Europe Villa Cortés, Los Christianos

Overview This magnificent but relatively small 5 star
Grand Luxe hotel, opened in June 2002, stands in grounds of 15,000 square metres
adjacent to the sea front promenade. The Villa Cortes has been built in Mexican
hacienda style and is named after the famous Spanish New World explorer Hernan
Cortes, who conquered Mexico in the early 16th century. The aim is to offer a
“New World” to the hotel’s guests. A superb location together with innovative
architecture, quality furnishings and décor, and excellent facilities will
ensure a memorable holiday.
Location An unrivalled position right on the beach on the Los Cristianos
side of Playa de las Americas with shopping centres, restaurants, cafeterias,
and night life within a short stroll.
Relaxation Extensive sun terraces and tropical gardens allow plenty of
room for sun loungers, tables, chairs and colourful sun umbrellas around the
swimming pool, whilst the sound of the gently cascading waterfall adds to the
relaxing atmosphere. Inside there are lounges offering plenty of space. There
are five bars for drinks and cocktails.
Sports/Games There is a tennis court and nearby a selection of golf
courses, diving school and mountain-bike hire.
Dining An extensive choice of restaurants, including Brauhaus for
Bavarian specialities, Pancho Villa offering Mexican cuisine, the buffet-style
Veracruz for half-board guests, and the Titziano gourmet restaurant. In
addition, La Sirena by the swimming pool, and El Guincho serving fish and
seafood, offer yet more choice to guests.
Entertainments Piano and dance music at the hotel bar.
Special Features There is a chapel located on an original reconstructed
Mexican Pyramid where weddings and baptisms can be celebrated. The hotel has its
own beach club, and a fully equipped Spa and fitness centre. Boutique, pool and
room service, hairdresser’s shop. Underground car park.
For Children The miniclub “Los Chamaquitos” organises a special programme
of activities for youngsters between 4 and 12 years old. Children’s section of
pool.
Accommodation 152 air conditioned rooms and suites each with bath/shower,
terrace and/or balcony, direct dial telephone, internet and fax connection,
satellite TV with music channels, safe, minibar, bathrobes, cosmetic mirror and
