Day 1. Depart LondonDepart London bound Vancouver. On arrival make your way to the Sandman Hotel for the night.
Day 2. Campbell River
Fly on to Campbell River today and Painters Lodge, where you
spend the night.
Days 3 to 8. Aboard the Songhee [B
(Days 4 to 8 only), L, D]
Today you board the Songhee, a converted coastal supply
vessel, for a 6-night voyage along Johnson Strait. Kayaks
will be provided on-board the Songhee and used each day in
the company of knowledgeable guides, on the look out for not
only Orca Whales, but also Brown, and Black Bears,
White-sided Dolphins, Harbour Seals, Dall’s Porpoises and
Bald Eagles. Johnstone Strait, with its deep fjords jutting
into the jagged coastline and islands dotted all around,
provides a stunning setting for this adventure. No prior
kayaking experience is needed as tuition is provided on
arrival.
Delicious meals will be cooked for you, after which you can relax on deck or in the hot tub on-board.
Day 9. Campbell River [B]
Return to Campbell River and Painters Lodge for a further
night.
Days 10 & 11. Homeward
Catch your flight back to the UK, where you arrive the next
day.
